HDR Images

HDR (High Dynamic Range) images blend multiple photographs of the same scene, taken at different exposure values. This allows more details and a wider range of colors to be captured in both the bright and dark areas of the scene.

The resulting HDR composite images are more detailed and vibrant than single exposure photographs taken with the same camera. Software is used to obtain the most desired effect, ranging from subtle natural looking enhancements to dramatic architectural expression.

The image on the left is a single exposure photograph. The image in the center is a 3-exposure HDR composite. The image on the right applies a more extreme HDR effect to obtain a more dramatic and visually compelling artistic expression, similar to an architectural rendering.
